Hershel Norman Robinson

Hershel Norman Robinson was born July 2, 1918 to Ollie and Melissa Robinson. He went to be with the Lord on March 16, 2011. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Ruby Fawbus Robinson. Hershel lived his life in the Rose Creek community in Perry County, where he was a member of Hickory Grove Freewill Baptist Church, serving as a deacon for 52 years. He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Jean and (James) Greene, and Janice and (Johnny) Rainey and eight grandchildren, LaJuana and (Ed) Oswalt, Matt and (Debbie) Greene, ReNata and (Keith) Bauder, DeAwna and (Jeff) Brantly; Terri and (Darrell) George, Tim and (Debra) Wells, Paula and (Kevin) Ashcraft, Bobby Wayne and (Jennifer) Wells; 18 great-grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Rev. Geno Johnson will preside at the funeral at Hickory Grove Freewill Baptist Church on Monday, March 21, 2011 at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Fitch Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
