Beth Davidson

Beth Davidson died on March 15, 2011 in Ft. Myers, Florida. Born Lalla Elizabeth Chidester in Camden, Arkansas in 1915, to Frank B. Chidester Jr. and Pauline Thornton Chidester. Attended Henderson Brown College in Arkadelphia and taught a generation of second-graders at Rison Elementary School. Married Herman J. "Buddy" Davidson in 1937. A homemaker deeply involved with her church and community of Rison, Arkansas. She is survived by a son, Dr. Jerry Davidson of Torrington, Conn. and a daughter, Diane Adams of North Ft. Myers, Fla., daughter-in-law, Susan L. Davidson, son-in-law, Daniel B. Adams, four grandchildren, Adecia Adams, North Ft. Myers, Douglas Davidson, Cabot, Ark., Colin Davidson, Ft. Collins, Colo., and Conrad Adams, San Diego, Calif. There are three great-grandchildren, Laura Elizabeth Davidson of Cabot, and Owen Michael Davidson and Emma Marie Davidson, of Ft. Collins, and a host of friends and acquaintances who will long remember her joy in helping others and her delight in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
