Billy Ervin Kee

Billy Ervin Kee, age 77 of Haskell, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at the Conway Regional Medical Center. Billy was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the Korean War, was of the Assembly of God Faith and was an avid outdoors man. He is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years Jimmie Sue Kee, his parents Freeman Kee and Mabel Gross Kee and his sister Geneva Mathews-McClure. Survivors include his two children, Karren Sue Abshier (Larry) of Glenwood, Ark. and Michael Kee of Haskell, Ark.; a very special niece, Sharron Wallis and best buddy Gaylon Wallis; three grandchildren, Billy Abshier (Cathie), Kayla Abshier and Tyler Kee; one great-grandchild, Eliana Abshier and a special friend, Roberta Perkins. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy. 5 North, Alexander, Ark. (501) 455-1067 with Brother Larry Hightower officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Friday, March 25, 2011 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
