Dorothy Hughes Richards

Dorothy Hughes Richards, 74, of Little Rock, Ark. went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 20, 2011. She was born to Evie Rhodes and Mary Cobb Rhodes on May 11, 1936 in Parkdale, Arkansas. She was a member of New Light Baptist Church. Her parents; two brothers, John and Fred Rhodes; one son, Bradley Hughes III; and grandson, Ahki Hughes, preceded her in death. Survivors include: her husband, James Richards; four children, Linda (Williams) Wyatt, Donald Ray Hughes, Rickey (Terry) Hughes and Jacqueline (Johnny) Webb; sister, Ethel Smith; brother, James Rhodes and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Home going services will be Saturday, March 26, 2011, 11 a.m. Family visitation: Friday, March 25, 2011, 7:30-8:30 p.m., both services held at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home Chapel, 1200 Chester St., LR (501) 372-1305.
