Deacon Marshall Coleman, 97, of North Little Rock, AR, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 17, 2011. He was born May 27, 1913 to the late George Coleman and Hattie Watts. He retired from the city of North Little Rock in 1978. He enjoyed working in the church, hunting, fishing and traveling. He was preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his children, Emma Coleman; second wife Ethel Coleman; his son, Leland Stanley and his sister, Juanita Watts. He is survived by his wife, Roberta W. Coleman; five sons, Edward, Richard, John and Charles Coleman all of Little Rock, Ark., and Thomas Coleman, Dallas, Texas; seven daughters, Mable Banks, Denver, Colo., Evelyn Webb and Bonita Coleman, Little Rock, Ark., Carolyn Hall, Jacksonville, Fla., Ada Graham, Indianapolis, Ind., Mary (Earl) Moses, North Little Rock, Ark. and Ruby Coleman, Dallas, Texas; three step daughters, Ruby Broaden, Pam Broadway and Mary Martin; special nieces, Frances (Thomas) Harris, Little Rock, Ark., and Connie Vann, Jacksonville, Ark.; 18 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be on Saturday, March 26, 2011, 11 a.m., at the First Pentecostal Church, 5302 Old Jacksonville Hwy 161 N., North Little Rock, Ark. The visitation hour will be on Friday, March 25, 2011, 6 -7 p.m., at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester St. LR (501) 372-1305. Interment will follow at Rest In Peace Memorial Garden in Hensley, Ark.
