Charles Eugene Campbell, 73, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away in his sleep on Monday, March 21, 2011. He was born on August 14, 1937 to Fred and Louise Campbell of North Little Rock, Arkansas. Charles was a licensed funeral director who compassionately helped Arkansans for over 50 years. He was a dedicated employee with Roller Funeral Homes for the last fifteen years. Charles was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Charles loved his family, friends and lived his life as a devoted son, brother, uncle and friend. He was a joy to be around, keeping everyone happy, laughing and enjoying life. He was a hard working man who spent his free time helping out at Deli-Mart, cooking, talking and laughing with employees and customers. Charles was preceded in death by his father, Fred Otis Campbell Sr., loving mother, Edith Louise Campbell and brother-in-law, George Birch, of Milpitas, California. He is survived by one brother, Fred Campbell Jr. and wife Jeanette of Little Rock; two sisters, Ruth Howard of North Little Rock and Gertrude Birch of Milpitas, California; his loving niece, Linda Wortham of Maumelle as well as many other nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Friday, March 25, 2011 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home (501) 224-8300. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock.
