Angela Kay McCallum, 61, retired school teacher and devoted wife and mother, died at her home on Wednesday, March 23, 2011. She was born August 24, 1949 in Nashville, Arkansas to the late Charles and Betty Conatser. She graduated from Arkadelphia High School and went on to obtain a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Henderson State University. She worked for the Arkadelphia and Hope School Systems for over twenty years. She was an avid reader who loved literature, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She attended Arkadelphia Church of Christ on Pine Street. She is preceded in death by her husband of more than 40 years, Butch McCallum. She is survived by her two sons and their wives, Dr. Gary and Dr. Jenny McCallum and Michael and Alison McCallum all of Little Rock; her beloved grandchildren, Mae Elizabeth, Cole Wriley, Connor William and Logan Butch; siblings Sherry Treece, Pam Key, Michael Conatser and Steve Conatser, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, March 27 in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral chapel with Pastor Randy Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
