William Orville "Bill" Patterson

William Orville "Bill" Patterson, 84, born March, 29 1926 in Clarksville, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2011 in his home. He was a member of Belle Masonic Lodge #410, served as Worshipful Master, Secretary, District Deputy Grandmaster, Board of Custodians and Royal Arch Mason. He was a lecturer for new Masons in the following degrees: entered Apprentice, Fellowcraft and Master Mason. He was a member of Belle Grove Order of the Eastern Star and served as the Worthy Patron many times. He is survived by four sons, Robert (Georgina) of Hartman, Ronnie Patterson of Long Beach, Calif., Mike Patterson of Clarksville, Terry Patterson of Clarksville, two daughters, Marlene (Jody) Cooper of Clarksville and Sharlla Patterson of Clarksville; seven grandchildren, Jason (Nikki) Patterson of Hartman, Lori (Larry) Ness of Bentonville, Ark., Ryan Patterson of Phoenix, Ariz., Laci Patterson of Long Beach, Calif., Brent (Tracy) Cooper of Hatchett, Ark., Tonya (J.D.) House of Clarksville, Tony (Christine) Patterson of Great Falls, Mont., and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, 2-4 p.m. at the Hardwicke Funeral Chapel. Service 10 a.m., Monday, March 28 at the East Mount Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Robbie Jackson officiating. Pallbearers : Jason Patterson, Ryan Patterson, Brent Cooper, Wayne Pratt, Bobby Cooper, Nap Felkins, Louie Leeds, and Keith Scoggins. Honorary pallbearers: Eldon Scroggins, Garland Taylor, all Fellow Masons and the Men's Sunday School Class. Masonic Graveside Burial in the Mount Vernon Cemetery.
