Dr. Jack Harrington

Dr. Jackie T. Harrington, 79, of Magnolia, went to be with the Lord on March 26, 2011, surrounded by his wife and children at Magnolia Hospital. Dr. Jack, as he was known by many, was born on Dec. 5, 1931 to Richard and Dicie Harrington of Okolona, Ark. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mona Harrington; six children, Sharron Corell and husband Tom of Beach City, Ohio, David Harrington of Walnut Ridge, Jayna Callender and husband John of El Dorado, Brian Harrington of Emerson, Jeff Harrington and wife Shannon, Monty Harrington and wife Janet, all of Magnolia. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, three brothers, four sisters, a number of nieces and nephews and numerous friends. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Central Baptist Church in Magnolia, with Dr. Mike Seabaugh and Brother Steve Ford officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home of Magnolia. Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home.
