Henry Mazzanti Jr.

Henry David Martin Mazzanti Jr., age 72, of Lake Village, died Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Chicot Memorial Medical Center. He was born May 21, 1938, in Lake Village, the son of the late Enerico and Anna Maria Mazzanti and was a salesman and a communicant of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Pittman Mazzanti, and by three brothers and a sister, Victor, Ned, and Robert Mazzanti and Rosie Kellerman. He is survived by five daughters, Alana Duncan of Houston, Texas, Anna Volkman of Gulfport, Miss., Marissa Mazzanti of Lake Village, Madelyn Mazzanti of Greenville, Miss., and Barbie Coleman of Brandon, Miss.; six brothers, Paul Mazzanti of Memphis, Tenn., Gene Mazzanti of Little Rock, Frank Mazzanti of Crossett, and Joe Mazzanti, Al Mazzanti and Fiore Mazzanti, all of Lake Village; two sisters, Katherine Talbot and Gloria Morara, both of Lake Village; five grandchildren, Jessica, Deborah, Reagan, Gentry and Nicholas and four great-grandchildren. Visitation is from 5 to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 27, 2011 at Bishop Funeral Home with Rosary Service at 6 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday, March 28, 2011 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Father Theophilus Okpara as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Holy Innocents Cemetery under the direction of Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village.
