Sarah R Rogers

Sarah R. Rogers, 90, of Searcy, passed from this life on Monday, March 28, 2011. She was born October 7, 1920 in New Sharon, Maine to the late A.H. and Helen Moore Russell. Mrs. Rogers was a homemaker; a member of the Arkansas Extension Homemakers Council (Gum Springs Club); member of the Westside Church of Christ and the Golden Years Group at Westside Church of Christ. Her parents; her husband, J.E. Rogers; four sisters and one brother precede her in death. Survivors include two daughters, Sarah Piker and husband, John of Searcy; Cindy Allison and husband, Ricky of Searcy; four grandchildren, Jennifer Allison Cox and husband, Bryen; Molly Piker, Jay Piker, Lynsey Piker and partner, Andrea Walker; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Richard Russell and wife Monie of Farmington, Maine. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 10 a.m., Thursday at Romance Cemetery with Fred Picker officiating.
