CLIFTON "CLIFF" MCCGILL, age 62, of Little Rock, died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011. He was born Dec. 22, 1948, in Prescott, Ark., to Odie and Laura Shaw McGill but was reared by his grandmother Laura Shaw, all whom preceded him in death. He was a 1966 graduate of Blevins Training School, a retired driver for Colonial Bakery Company, the Teamsters Union #868 and of the Methodist Faith. Survivors include his wife Annie Brewer McGill of Little Rock, Ark.; one son, Clifton Nakia McGill of Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Nena McGill of Dallas, Texas, and Tamika McGill of Memphis, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Dominique and DeVonte' Hopkins, Rennason Davis and Kejuan McGill; three brothers, Odie (Arlene) McGill of Sarepta, La., Carl (Fannie) McGill and Cal (Mary) McGill all of Cullen, La.; three sisters, Iola (Walter) Thomas of Boyce, La., Valene Alexander of Little Rock, Ark., and Francis (John) Manning of Cullen, La.; his mother-in-law, Hattie Brewer and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and his extended family. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in New Hope Baptist Church, 1851 Howard Street Little Rock, Ark., with Pastor Michael Perkins officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in Greenhill Cemetery, County Road 16 Prescott, Ark. Visitation will be from 6–8 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
