James C. Fultz

James C. Fultz, age 91, of Camden, died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011. He was born Dec. 20, 1920 at Eagle Mills, Ark. He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Mary Beth Milner Fultz; parents, Mr. and Mrs. James E. Fultz; and sister, Rebecca Fultz Barner Hutton. He is survived by his nephew, Jim Barner and wife, Zenita of Harmony Grove; niece, Martha B. Tate of Texarkana, Ark.; and special sister-in-law, Virginia Milner Berry of Texarkana, Texas. He was a U.S. Marine veteran of World War II and awarded the Bronze Star medal and two Purple Hearts for wounds received on Guam and Iwo Jima. He was a member and elder of the First Presbyterian Church in Camden. Mr. Fultz was an avid hunter and member of Smead Deer Camp for 58 years. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. Horeb Cemetery with Rev. Erin Kaye officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
