Dr. Jon Paul Chapman Sr. died of a heart attack at his home on Dec. 29, 2011. Dr. Chapman owned Chapmans Eye Care in Hot Springs, Ark. Following graduation from Southern College of Optometry, Jon Paul served in the United States Army, and retired as a Lt. Colonel in the reserves after 23 years of service.
