William Randall Byars

There will be a memorial funeral service for William Randall Byars, who died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011, after a long illness, Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012 at 1 p.m. in St. Mark's Episcopal Church officiated by The Reverend Danny Schieffler and The Reverend Lisa Fry. Burial of cremains will follow in the church garden. Randy is survived by his wife of 34 years; Janice Parsons Byars of Little Rock, sister Georgianna McKown and husband Conrad of North Little Rock, a sister-in-law Ann Byars of Fort Smith, and three nephews; Joe Dan, Blake, and Andrew Byars all of Fort Smith. He is also preceded in death by a brother Joe Dan Byars. A celebration of Randy's life will be held at his residence at 5 p.m. following the services. All friends are welcome. Memorials in lieu of flowers should be made to St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 1000 N. Mississippi Street, Little Rock 72205.
