Mabel Ruth Boyer West

Mabel Ruth Boyer West, age 88, of Lanty, passed away, Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011. She was born Sept. 3, 1923 in Center Ridge, Ark., a daughter of Hersel Boyer and Margaret Essie O'Brien Boyer. She was the widow of William Hester West; a homemaker, and member of Harding Street Church of Christ. Survivors include her son, Benny (Rebecca) West of Lanty; granddaughters, Lorrie (Mike) Hall of Estill Springs, Tenn.; Susan (Paul) Dehart of Conway, and Kellye (Brian) Hardin of Springdale; grandsons, Mike (Elizabeth) West of Lanty, and Tony (Leone) West of Alexandria, Va.; 12 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert West. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, at Harris Chapel with Mr. Charles Bane and Mr. Mike Hall officiating. Burial will be at Friendship Cemetery at Solgohachia by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 2, at the funeral home.
