THOMAS ROGER ALLEN, 69, of Alexander, passed away Jan. 2, 2012. He was born May 1, 1942 in New York to the late Roger and Joyce Sargent Allen. Thomas was a member of New Life Baptist Church on Samples Road. He worked for Herman Reeves Dirtworks for 22 years. Survivors, wife, Lida Allen of Alexander; sons, Ray Allen, California, Ricky Allen, Arizona; step-sons, Larry Modglin and Gary Modglin; daughters, Cynthia Oshoa, Arizona, Sheryl Walters, Arizona; stepdaughters, Shelia Hensley, Alexander, Cheryl Phillips, Benton, Lisa Word, Benton, Terri Seifert, Kansas; half-brothers, Jerry Allen, Nebraska, Frank Allen, New York and Fred Allen, New York; sister, Jolene Brewster, Nebraska; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
