Minnie Dill Tipton, 100, of Stuttgart passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at Springbrook Health and Rehab in Hazen. Mrs. Tipton was born August 27, 1911, in England, Arkansas, to Angus and Minnie Stephens Dill. She was a farmer's wife and was known as Nanaw by her family. She was a longtime member of First Assembly of God Church and loved the Lord and rejoiced in His grace and glory. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 76 years, Dallas H. Tipton; a son, Bobby Dee Tipton; an infant daughter, Opal Maxine Tipton; four brothers; and two sisters. Survivors are two children, Billy K. Tipton and wife Sally of Stuttgart and Mickey Wagner and husband Bruce of Maumelle; daughter-in-law, Charlotte Castleberry Tipton of Conway; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services, officiated by the Rev. Jerry North and Bro. Larry Skinner, are 1 p.m., Saturday at First Assembly of God Church. Burial will follow in Biscoe Cemetery by Turpin Funeral Home of Stuttgart. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at First Assembly of God Church.
