Evelyn Nutter Low

Evelyn Nutter Low passed away in San Diego, Calif. on Dec. 31, 2011. She was born May 6, 1933 in Judsonia, Ark. She was one of 10 children born to William and Jesse Pearl Nutter. Evelyn met her soul-mate James Low, son of the Westinghouse manager Jim Low at Westinghouse Corporation and married him on July 17, 1955. James Low passed away Dec. 5, 1998. They lived in Missouri and Indiana while raising their four children: Lisa, Bruce, Byron and Brett. Evelyn and James retired to Cape Coral, Florida in 1992, where shew as an active member of the North Fort Myers Church of Christ. She is survived by her children, Lisa Low Harris, Bruce Low, Byron Low, Brett Low, and her grand-children: Caitlyn Harris, Taylor Low, David Harris, Ian Harris, Zoey Low, Karissa Low, Ben Low and Marena Low; and her sisters Pauline Bryan, Fay Dempsey and Katie McCuin. She was a beautiful person who truly loved others and who never met a stranger she did not like; she will be sorely missed. A celebration of her life will be held May 6, 2012.
