Amy Laffoon Jackson, 39, of North Little Rock, died Tuesday, January 10 at Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock. A graduate of Searcy High School, Mrs. Jackson (Amy) attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and Harding University. She was a life member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority and a member of the Trinity Parish Episcopal Church in Searcy. She was born to Suzanne Laffoon and David C. Laffoon, at Nautilus Memorial Hospital in Waverly, Tennessee, March 12, 1972. Survivors include her husband, John H. Jackson of North Little Rock, the love of her life; brother, Jon Paul "Winterhawk" Laffoon and his wife Megan Laffoon and their son Jon Miller Laffoon all of Searcy; brother David "Bubba" Laffoon of Lampasas, Texas; favorite aunt's, Ellen Brown of North Little Rock and Tamara Laffoon of Judsonia. Visitation will be at Powell Funeral Home, Searcy, 6 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, January 12 and memorial services at Trinity Parish Episcopal Church, Searcy, Friday, January 13 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Parish Episcopal Church or the Sunshine School of Searcy.
