Mary Jo Morris Worley, 69, of Grapevine, Arkansas went to be with the Lord from her home on Wednesday, January 11, 2012. She was born December 22, 1942 in Grapevine, Arkansas to the late Earl Houston Morris and Dicie C. Garner Morris. She was a member of Bethany #1 Missionary Baptist Church in Grapevine. She was also a very proud member of the Simon Bradford Chapter, U.S. Daughters of 1812. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters: Betty Faye Morris Talley and Willie Mae Morris Appling and one brother, Jimmie Carrol Morris. Mrs. Worley is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Robert Lee Worley of Grapevine; two daughters, Kristine Worley of Philadelphia, Tennessee and Robin Smith and husband Ralph of Grapevine; six grandchildren; Andrew Lawson of Chattanooga, Tennessee; Nicholas Lawson and wife Kristie of the U.S. Army, stationed in Fort Carson, Colorado; Rachel and Rebekah Lawson of Philadelphia, Tennessee; Julie Anne Smith and husband Shawn of Little Rock, and Jacob Smith of Grapevine; two step-granddaughters, Buffy Teague and husband Jesse of Leola and Jodi Clements of Malvern. Mrs. Worley is also survived by five great-grandchildren and a very special cousin, Pat LaSage. Also, she is survived by her brother, Robert Morris and his wife Eloise of Pine Bluff, and several nephews, nieces who she loved very much. She will be missed so much by her family and friends. Many thanks to all who helped us through this very difficult time while in the hospital and at home. Funeral will be 1 p.m., Saturday, January 14, 2012 at the funeral home with Bro. Rusty Womble and Bro. Roger Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Davis Cemetery at Grapevine. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
