Florene Edwards

Florene Edwards, age 89, of Nimrod, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2012, in Morrilton, Arkansas after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was born June 17, 1922, in Tuxedo, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, and all of her siblings. Her husband Don Edwards and sister-in-law Bess Edwards. Survivors include nieces, Rita Edwards Castleberry (husband L.D.) of Nimrod, Mary Edwards Scogins of Aplin and numerous nieces and nephews in Texas and California. Our special thanks to the River Chase Care Center Staff in Morrilton and Arkansas Hospice in Russellville. Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, January 19, at Nimrod Cemetery with Mr. Charles Smith officiating. Arrangements are by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
