Mary Ann Irving

Mrs. Mary Ann Irving, 83, of Little Rock died Tuesday, January 17, 2012 in Little Rock at Arkansas Hospice. Mrs. Irving was born April 30, 1928 in Fort Worth, Texas to Oscar and Henrietta Williams. She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church in Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, William Irving, her parents, and three brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Marietta Smith and husband Steve, grandsons William Bryant Smith and wife Sayward, and Steve Smith, Jr. all of Little Rock. Mrs. Irving was active in her church and was a past president of the women's Presbyterial, Synod cal Vice President, and active in Pastoral Care. She was also an ordained Elder at Graham Memorial Presbyterian Church in Forrest City, Arkansas. Her family would like to thank caregivers Kina Berry-Hayes and Sheila Fletcher for their many years of loving and compassionate care, as well as the staff of Arkansas Hospice at St. Vincent Infirmary. A celebration of her life will be held at Graham Memorial Presbyterian Church in Forrest City on Friday, January 20, 2012 at 2 p.m., with burial to follow at Mr. Vernon cemetery.
