William T. Joseph Watson Jr.

William T. Joseph Watson Jr., 82, resident of Wellington, Fla., born in Kearny. July 8, 1929 passed away on January 18, 2012. The son of William T. Watson, Sr. and Catherine Lawlor Watson, Bill graduated from Harrison High School (N.J.) in 1947 and then served his country in the US Army. After serving honorably, Bill attended Rutger's University and went on to become a respected executive in the lighting and trucking industry for over forty years. On September 15, 1956 he was married to Dorothy A. Belmont in Newark, N.J. Mrs. Watson, who survives her husband in death, was by his side for the last 62 years as she was at the time of his passing. Bill and his family lived in Little Rock from 1975 to 2000 with daughter Adria attending Pulaski Academy. Bill is survived by his wife, Dorothy, daughters, Karen Watson Golnick (Greg) of Palm Beach, Fla. and Adria Watson Fraioli (Jay) of Miami, Fla., granddaughter, Yu-Hua Golnick and brother, John Watson. Visitation will be held on Saturday at Palms West Funeral Home in Royal Palm Beach, Florida followed by a funeral mass will follow at St Rita's Catholic Church in Wellington, Fla.
