Winifred Dillon

Winifred Dillon of Conway, Arkansas, passed away on January 18th 2012 at Conway Regional Medical Center. Winnie was born on March 24th 1917 to George and Sylvia Olsen in Hiawatha, Utah, the third of five children. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister, a grandson, a great-grandson and her husband of 55 years, Warren C. Dillon. She is survived by one brother, (Ted Olsen), five children, (Vanita Turnbull, Bill Bertelsen, Linda Duncan, Terry Dillon, Dorothy Hutson), 26 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren. She was a life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served temple missions in Washington D.C. and Chicago Illinois. Her family will yet rise up and call her blessed for the loving sacrifices she made on their behalf. Her work in mortality is at an end but the effects of her work will be eternal, because families are forever.
