Roy Lynn Colbert

Roy Lynn Colbert, 47, of Ward, died Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012. He was born Aug. 1, 1964 in Scottsburg, Ind. to the late Willis Eugene and Alice Louise Colbert. Roy worked several years as a carpenter. He enjoyed building things and loved to fish. In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Colbert. He is survived by five sisters, Brenda Colbert of Searcy, Mary Cox of Ward, Debora Cherry of Higginson, and Elizabeth Brooks and Carolyn Carey, both of Scottsburg, Ind.; three brothers, Don Colbert of Monroe, La., David Colbert of Austin and Ernie Colbert of Cabot; and a host of nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held 6-8 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012 in the Chapel of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Monday, Jan. 23 at the funeral home, with Jason Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Monk Cemetery in Ward.
