Eugene (Gene) Carpenter

Eugene (Gene) Carpenter, 69, of Lonoke passed away Jan. 21, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Lucy Carpenter; son, Jeffery Carpenter and brother, Louis Carpenter. Survivors include his wife, Emma Carpenter; sons, Les and Eddy (Joanna) Carpenter; step-daughter, Cynthia (Larry) Moore, all of Lonoke; granddaughters, Jennifer (Justin) Reeves of North Little Rock and Edi Carpenter of Jacksonville; grandsons, Cody, John, Justin and Nicholas Carpenter all of Lonoke; great-granddaughter, Harper Sumner; step-granddaughter, DeAnna (Tom) Chattle of Texas; step-grandson, Larry Moore of Lonoke; brother, Jay (Lou) Carpenter of Des Arc and sisters, Birtha Larkan and Mary Thate of Lonoke. Family will receive friend Monday, Jan. 23 for 6-8 p.m. at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
