Frances Lavonda Gray

Frances Lavonda Gray, age 78, of Cabot, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Baptist Springhill Medical Center in North Little Rock. She was born October 21, 1933 in Austell, Georgia to the late Henry and Lois Sargent Brown. On October 22, 1949 she married Ernest Gray in Cartersville, Georgia. They were the owners of Cabot Storm Doors and Windows. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ralph Clayton Brown, Garry William Brown and Bob Dean Brown; a sister, Opal Juanita Mader. She is survived by her husband, Ernest Gray of the home; four children, Cathy Smith of Cabot, Jerry and his wife, Vicki Gray of Cabot, Tony and his wife, Joy Gray of Jacksonville, Mark and his wife, Janet Gray of Cabot; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Richard Eugene Brown of Cartersville, Georgia, Patricia Allene Arnold of Rome, Georgia, Barbara Ann Wood of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida and Egbert Lee Brown of Ellijay, Georgia. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Chapel with Brother David Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Cabot. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2012 at the funeral home.
