Sarah Betty Talbert

Sarah (Betty) Green Talbert, age 85, of Little Rock, formerly of Sardis, passed away Friday, Jan. 27, 2012. She was born Jan. 13, 1927 in Jeffersonville, Ind. Mrs. Talbert was a homemaker and a member of Primrose Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Willie J. Poe; husband, William Darrell Green Sr. and a sister, Margaret Dobson. She is survived by two daughters, Darlene Henderson of Bryant and Judy Surrett of Little Rock; two sons, Darrell Green Jr. and wife Stacey of Little Rock and Charles Green and wife Michele of Malvern; sister, Midge Kilgore of Little Rock; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29 at Ashby Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 30 at McPherson Cemetery in Sardis.
