Earnest James

Earnest James, 71, of Carlisle, departed this life May 2, 2012. He was born in Moro, Ark. to Beatrice Smith and the late James A. James on October 22, 1940. He was retired from the farming industry and a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors, mother, Beatrice Smith-Davis; wife, Essie Mae James; Four daughters Conya Spencer of Lonoke, Lora Powell, Antwuanette Ricks, and Angelia James, all of Carlisle. Four Sons, Neal James of Kaiserslautern, Germany, Danny James of Conway, Reggie James of North Aurora, Ill., and Michael Bradley of California; one God daughter, Latoya Cooney-Burley; 10 Siblings; 16 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services 3 p.m., Saturday at Gateway Fellowship International, 101 Alice Lane, Lonoke, Ark. Burial Carlisle Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to service. Arrangements entrusted to Larry G.
