FREDA MAE LONG, 81, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 3, 2012. She was born on Sept. 21, 1930 in Amity, Ark., to the late Grover Alexander and Mary Ellen Lambert Massey. She graduated from Amity High School and was valedictorian. She graduated from Capitol City Business College in Little Rock. She was secretary to the post master in North Little Rock. She was a member of Geyer Springs First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.T. Long; four brothers, Earl, Burl, Clint and Ford Massey. She is survived by two daughters, Laura O'Kelley and husband, Michael of Little Rock, Carol Long of Fayetteville; three grandchildren Ross O'Kelley and wife Sally, Clint O'Kelley, and MaryEllen O'Kelley; and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Monday, May 7, 2012 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, (501) 224-8300. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at Geyer Springs First Baptist Church, with Reverend Dave Hughey and Reverend Paul Sanders officiating.
