Margaret Nigus

MARGARET NIGUS, 88, of North Little Rock, Ark. was called to be with the Lord on Friday, May 4, 2012. She was born June 7, 1923 in North Little Rock to the late David M. and Lola Wolfe Hamilton. Ms. Nigus was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a homemaker and devoted animal lover. She attended Second Baptist Church of North Little Rock, and enjoyed serving in prison ministries. As a believer in Jesus Christ, she is now a resident of Heaven! In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Albert Nigus. Cherishing her memory are her children, Mary Olm and husband Jeff of North Little Rock, Janie Lynn of Dallas, Texas, and David Nigus and wife Joann of Cabot; five grandchildren, Holly Bass, Stacy Hamsher, Shelley Lynn, Philip Lynn, and Jonathan Nigus; and two great grandchildren, Abigail Bass and Isaac Hamsher. A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, May 7, 2012 in the chapel of Griffin Leggett-Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock (501)835-3515, with Danny Jones officiating.
