Robert Lee Bures Jr.

Robert Lee (Bob) Bures Jr., 77, of Des Arc, Ark. and formerly of North Little Rock, passed away May 4, 2012, at his home in Des Arc after a seven year battle with lung cancer. He was born March 4, 1935, to Robert Bures Sr. and Lucille Price Bures in De Valls Bluff. Bob was a 1953 graduate of North Little Rock High School, and a heavy equipment operator/mechanic for Ben M. Hogan Construction Co. for over 40 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Des Arc. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Cornelia (Connie) Bures; two sons, Keith (Karen) Bures of Aiken, S.C. and Clayton (Barbara) Bures of Jacksonville; three grandchildren, Melissa (Daniel) Hudson, Ashley Bures, Clay Bures all of Jacksonville; one brother, Dale Bures of Scott, Ark.; four step-grandchildren and two step-great- grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, also Pete and Trouble. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, May 6 at Garth's Funeral Home, Des Arc, Ark. Funeral will be Monday, May 7 at First Baptist Church in Des Arc at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Welcome Home Cemetery, Griffithville, Ark. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice, 401 N.
