Harold Hirsch

Mr. Harold Hirsch, 97, of Harrison, Ark., formerly of Cherokee Village, died on Friday, May 4, 2012, Harrison, Ark. Born Sunday, Nov. 8, 1914 in Hudson, Mo. the son of Henry Hirsch and Henrietta "Lotz" Hirsch. Harold was a real estate salesman and cattle farmer in the Sharp County area. He worked also with Cooper Land Company. Harold was the longest standing member of the Arkansas Soil Conservation and first of two inducted into the Conservations Hall of Fame in Hot Springs. Harold is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Eunice and second wife Tina, seven brothers and three sisters. He is survived by sons, Jim and Bonnie Hirsch of Harrison, Ark. and Robert and Jan Hirsch of Wentzville, Mo. Grandson Michael Hirsch and granddaughter Melinda Turner, great-granddaughters Paige, Amber and Hattie Hirsch, step-grandsons Bob and Tom Sherrill; step-great-grandchildren Seth, Jennifer and Maggie Sherrill. Visitation 6 until 8 p.m. Monday at Heath Oak Hill Chapel in Highland. Funeral service at 10 a.m. in Heath Funeral Home. Brother Jimmy Anderson Officiating and Denis Gibbons music.
