Ronald Wayne Havniear, 51, of Traskwood found eternal peace on Friday, May 4, 2012. He was born on May 2, 1961 in Little Rock, Ark. to James and Lois Havniear. Ron was a Master Carpenter in Residential Construction whom took great pride in his craftsmanship. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, Nascar, was an avid collector, but mostly, spending time with his wife, children, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lois Havniear. He is survived by his wife, Christie Fortner Havniear, of 18 years and spent a total of 24 years together; his children, MaKayla and Kassadie Havniear; siblings, Ricky (Kimberly) Havniear of Jacksonville, Roger (Lisa) Havniear of Mabelvale, James "Sonny" Havniear, Diana Henry of Alexander; father-in-law, Paul Fortner Sr. of Benton; brother-in-laws, Buddy and Bobby Fortner of Benton; sister-in-law, Sandy (Robert) Johnson of Haskell; a number of loving nieces and nephews; several great nieces; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of loving friends. Visitation services will be Monday, May 7, 2012 from 6–8 p.m. at Ashby Funeral Home in Benton. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Gravel Hill Baptist Church on Hwy 9 in Benton with burial following. Brother Gary Gipson officiating. He will be greatly missed by everyone especially his daughters who he loved and adored. In lieu of flowers, a memorial account has been set up in the name of the Havniear family at the Bank of Ozark in Saline County.
