Agnes Florine Roberts Bailey

Agnes Florine Roberts Bailey, 92, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., died Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at her home. She was born December 25, 1919 in Bald Knob, Arkansas to Asa and Sarah Ann Riggins Roberts. She and Lewis W. "Dub" Bailey were married April 25, 1947 at White County, Arkansas. He died Feb. 6, 1995. Agnes had worked for Safe-Way Store/Guthrie Bakery in Van Nuys, Calif. She was a member of Bakery & Confectionary Union. She attended Bethel Assembly Of God Church in Cape Girardeau. Survivors include: daughters, Jo-Anne Farless, Cape Girardeau, Mo., Barbara J. Eilers, Cape Girardeau, Mo.; brother, Joseph Davis, State of California; five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents, husband, five brothers and two sisters. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 11, 2012 at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau. Funeral will be at 7 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2012 at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel with the Rev. Phillip Roop officiating. Graveside services will be Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Shady Grove Cemetery in Bald Knob, Arkansas. Memorial contributions may be given to Teen Challenge International Mid-America, P.O.
