Opal Emma Wiedower Overton

OPAL EMMA WIEDOWER OVERTON, 90, of Little Rock, died on Friday, May 11, 2012. She was born April 14, 1922 in Guy, Ark., a daughter of Lela Tucker and Julius Wiedower. She was a retired seamstress and a member of Highlands Baptist Church in Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Marvin Clarence Overton; her parents; sisters, Josephine Westlake and Alburna Horton, and brothers S.G. Wiedower and D.J. "Cotton" Wiedower. She is survived by her daughter, Gail and husband Roy Holmes of Little Rock; two grandchildren, Angela Cochran and husband James Roberts of Sheridan, and Crystal Grice Feier of Bentonville. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Sunday, May 13, 2012, at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, (501)224-8300.
