Steven Richard Shell, 56, of Alexander passed from this world to his eternal home with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 15th, 2012. To all who were honored to know him, he will forever be remembered as a loving husband, devoted to his wife and his family. He gave all of himself and everything he had to his family and they were richly blessed for having him in their lives. He is survived by his wife Jo Ellen, two step-sons, Michael Stratton and Clinton Curtis, his Dad, Richard (Dick) Shell, brother, David Shell (Cynthia), niece, Katherine Benson (Floyd) and nephew, Matthew Shell and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother Helen Hodges Harper Shell. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 19th, 2012 at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road in North Little Rock with visitation for family and friends on Friday, May 18th, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Services will be officiated by Rev. Wayne and Nancy McHughes and Rev. Scott King. Burial will follow the service in Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Memorial Park.
