A memorial service to celebrate the life of Milton Gary Haskin will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2012 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Clay Brock assisted by Rev. Gary Hodel and Curtis Storment. Visitation will begin Monday, May 21 at 3 p.m. prior to the service. Milton Gary Haskin was born July 31, 1943 in Oklahoma City, Okla., and died May 16, 2012 in Shreveport, La. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in math from Central State College in Edmond, Okla. in 1969 and completed his master's in biometry at UAMS at Little Rock, Ark. in 1973. Gary worked as a statistical computer programmer in the field of health care and was co-owner of Red River Statistics. His father, Milton Haskin Jr.; mother, Della Vae Robbins Haskin and his granddaughter, Jordyn Haskin preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Hodel Haskin; children, Rebecca Lynn Jones and William of Centralia, Ill., Janet Sue Storment and Curtis of Benton, Ark., and Stephen Gary Haskin and Alisa of Benton, Ark.; grandchildren, Alex and Jessika Jones, Jeffrey and Gary Storment and Zackary and Jacob Haskin; sisters, Donna Stratton and Stephanie Johnson and David all of Oklahoma City, Okla.; stepchildren, Anna and William Broussard, Gary and Loni Hodel, Patti and Dale Burney; step-grandchildren, Hope and Grace Hodel, Samantha and Shelby Borth, Megan and Ella Burney and the mother of his children, Judith Haskin of Benton, Ark.
