Sarita Sue Noble

Sarita Sue Noble, 78 from Valley City, N.D. went to her heavenly home in the early morning hours of Wednesday, May 16, 2012. She was born Aug. 4, 1933 in Little Rock, Ark. to Floyd and Edna (Crudgington) Noble. Sarita attended Mount Saint Mary's academy and worked for Pilot Life insurance company. She married Clinton Brown and traveled with him during his military career. Coming back home to Little Rock; they had one daughter, Jennifer. Sarita moved to North Dakota in 2008 to be closer to her daughter and grandson. She cherished her time with her grandsons and great-granddaughters, who knew her as Mimi. Sarita did not like the cold winters in North Dakota but loved the milder seasons so she could spend time on the farm with family and watch the local wildlife and farm animals. She enjoyed her mornings sitting on the porch overlooking the barn yard with a hot cup of coffee listening to a choir of birds serenading her from the treetops. She always greeted the farmers on the way to the field with a wave and welcomed visits from the farm cats. Sarita enjoyed making jewelry, knitting and various arts and crafts she created for her family and friends. She never went anywhere without her word search book and her pack of cigarettes, that way she would always be prepared to help pass the time if need be. Sarita (Mimi) will be deeply missed and remembered always by her daughter, Jennifer and her three grandsons, John (Valerie) Pickard of Fort Stewart, Ga., Anthony (Nicole) Pickard of Valley City, N.D., and James Pickard of Conway, Ark.; two great-granddaughters, Autumn Elizabeth and Willow Rose both of Valley City, N.D.; one brother, Keith Noble of Jamestown, N.D., as well as many friends and extended family.
