Dorothy Jean Chesney

Dorothy Jean (Tubbs) Chesney, age 79, of Ward, passed away May 19, 2012. She was born to Wiley Elijah and Annie Mae (Woods) Tubbs in 1932. Dorothy was a wonderful Mother to some and an amazing grandmother to others. She loved and cherished her Lord and her church. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Norman E. and Donald R. Chesney. She is survived by her husband of 64, James N. Chesney of Ward; four children, James L. Chesney and wife, Brenda K. of Marion, Ark.; Sylvia J. Bolin and husband, Michael of Hot Springs, Ark.; Rose M. Stone of Austin, Ark.; and Ricky W. Chesney of Ward; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four sisters, two brothers, and many cousins and friends. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m.–12 p.m. Monday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.
