Nina Odom

Nina Lucille Reveley Odom, age 91, passed away Friday, May 25, 2012. With a strong personality and deep courage, she was a one-of-a-kind person who touched many lives of not only her family but a host of friends. She grew up in extremely difficult times and had a knack for turning a little into a lot. She was a retired seamstress. She is survived by one son, Hubert Odom of Austin; one daughter and son-in-law, Marlene and Jim Sawyer of Hardy; one sister, Juanita Micetich of Buckeye, Ariz.; one grandson, Charles Haymes of Beebe; one niece, Phyllis Chamblee of Buckeye, Ariz.; and one nephew Dennis Chamblee of Buckeye, Ariz. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Herman Preston Odom; her parents, Wilson and Eva Reveley; and one brother Maynard Reveley. The family would like to give special recognition to caregivers Vickie Odom, Jessica Sanderson, Kathy Stockman and Jean Williams. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe, with Rev. Brien Nix Hall officiating. Burial will be in Apple Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eddie Griffin, Charles Haymes, Ray Haymes, Sonny Haymes, Tony Haymes and Jeff Lyles. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jack Odom, Larry Odom, Randall Odom, Flynn Reveley and J.L. Walker. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 28, 2012. www.westbrookfuneralhome.com.
