BERNIETA FAE TERRILL went to be with the Lord early Wednesday morning, March 27, 2013, at her home in Little Rock, Arkansas. Bernieta was an extraordinary woman born on the 6th of April, 1932. She was married to the love of her life, Raymond Laverne, for 62 years and together they raised three children: Jacqueline, married to Mark Morris, Regina (Jeannie) married to Ron Smith, and Mark Terrill. She had nine grandchildren, Brent Burns, Brandy Walls, Whitney Smith, Craig Smith, Matt Smith, Amy Newbern, Matt Terrill, James Morris and Jamie Davidson; and three great-grandchildren. Bernieta is now singing joyfully with all the angels in heaven! Words truly cannot describe the amazing woman of God that she was! She always had open arms, loving each person that God brought into her path! Bernieta loved gardening and spending time nurturing the vibrant flowers in her garden. She and Ray loved traveling to places that manifested God's glory. She was a woman who simply loved to love others! Bernieta was truly a disciple of Jesus who could brighten up a whole room without saying a word! Her beauty radiated not only from the outside, but from deep within. When you saw Bernieta Terrill, you simply saw Jesus Christ! The legacy she leaves is one that exemplifies the life that Jesus Christ lived! Bernieta Terrill loved with everything she had! Her happiest moments were seeing the joy and love of Christ shine in and through her family and friends! Quite simply, there is not a single word that conveys the godly woman that Bernieta was! The world has lost one of God's angels who was sent here to be a light in this world. Though she may be gone, her light still burns brightly through the countless number of lives she touched while she was here! Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at New Life Church, 8000 Crystal Hill Road, North Little Rock, Arkansas.
