Bessie A Fortenberry

Bessie A. Fortenberry, 91, of Cabot died Monday, April 1, 2013. She was born November 8, 1921 in Remmel, Arkansas to the late Baudie and Magie Howard Brown. Mrs. Fortenberry was one of six children and a member of the Cabot Church of Christ. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and taking care of children, which she did in her home for over 25 years. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fortenberry was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Sherman Fortenberry; a daughter, Sharron Dobbins; a son, Lawrence Fortenberry; three brothers and one sister. She is survived by her son, Randy Fortenberry and his wife, Jean of Cabot; one brother Frank Brown and his wife, Marlene of Munford, Tennessee; three grandchildren, five great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., Thursday, April 4, 2013 in the chapel of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, with funeral services immediately following at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Mt.
