Audrey "Sue" Mozelle Meece Witherington, 91, of Benton died Wednesday April 3, 2013. Born April 6, 1921 in Dallas County, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Ethel Gill Meece. She was a retired telephone operator for Alltel. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Ray Armin Witherington; one grandson, Kristopher Michael Witherington; six siblings, Juanita, Arlene, George, Joe, Wayne, and Wada. She is survived by two daughters, Janis Witherington Hopper (Travis) of Hot Springs Village, Sheila Witherington of Little Rock; one son, Max Witherington of Maumelle; five grandchildren, Bridget Mosley (Holcomb) of Little Rock, Crockett Harris Hopper (Amy) of Alameda, Calif., Molly Hopper Gaines (Ken) of Bryant, Carmen Mosley-Sims (Brad) of Little Rock, Susanna Witherington of Little Rock; 12 grandchildren, Zac Gaines, Caleb Hopper, Braeden Gaines, Luca Mosley-Sims, Ashlyn Gaines, Breck Mosley, Bird Mosley-Sims, Meric Mosley, Phoebe Hopper, Ike Mosley-Sims, Conner Hopper, Cora Mosley; one sister, Martha Meece Jordan of Logansport, La.; one sister-in-law, Lanta Mae Berryhill Meece of Conway, numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Old Union Primitive Baptist Church near Hot Springs with Elder Adam Green officiating. Burial will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Liberty Cemetery near Fordyce with Elders Hartsel and Paul Cayce officiating. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
