Regina Rhea Pillow

Regina Rhea Pillow, 88, of Corning passed away April 3, 2013 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. Born May 11, 1924 in Corning, Mrs. Pillow was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Corning where she and her husband touched many lives through the Share Group, Prayer Shawl Ministry and served as Sunday School Secretary. On June 18, 1946 she was united in marriage to Homer Jackson Pillow, Jr. He preceded her in death on July 27, 1992. Survivors are children Dianne (Charles) Mitchener of Albuquerque, NM and Terry Rhea (Kelley Wall) Pillow of Seattle, WA; three grandchildren Sara (Daniel) Hanks, John (Alleen) Mitchener, and Samuel Homer Jackson Pillow; and one great grandchild Laurel Kathryn Hanks. She was preceded in death by her husband; and parents, C.E. and Nora Rhea. Funeral service will be conducted Sun. April 7, 2013 at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Corning with Rev. Ann Ferris officiating. Burial will follow in Corning Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, PO Box 25, Corning, Ark. 72422.
