Millie Austin

Mrs. Millie Austin, 61, of Montrose, died Thursday, April 4, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Austin was a native of Delhi, Louisiana and a resident of Montrose for 41 years. She graduated from Lakeside High School in Lake Village in 1969. She was Vice President of Parkway Bank having retired in 2006 after 23 years of service. She was a member of the Portland Baptist Church where she was active in her Sunday School Class and the Mission Friends. She loved spending time and loving on her grandbabies. She is preceded in death by her father, Lee Otis Patrick Sr.; a sister, Suzzie Moss and a brother, Joseph Patrick. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Emory W. Austin of Montrose; a daughter, Ashley Boreani and husband, Chris, of Newark; a son, Nick Austin and wife, Kasey, of Shreveport, Louisiana; her mother, Sue Worthey Patrick of Lake Village; three brothers Lee Otis Patrick Jr., John Wayne Patrick both of Montrose and Ronnie (Slim) Patrick of Lake Village; her brother in law, Steve Moss of Little Rock; three grandchildren, Lauren & Rachel Boreani and Henry Austin and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the Portland Baptist Church with Rev. Carl Mason and Rev. Jimmy Wallace officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Pallbearers are Gary Matthews, Bob Young, Chris Lampkin, Jerry Bayliss, Johnny Matthews and Wilburn Austin. Honorary pallbearers are Buddy Lawrence, Jerry Selby, Roy Alexander, Ron Miller and Santo Olivi. Memorials may be made to the Portland Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 86, Portland, Ark. 71663.
