Conrad John Strzelecki

Conrad John Strzelecki was born on July 2, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois. He passed away peacefully on April 7, 2013 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his parents Conrad Joseph and Delores (Krause) Strzelecki. He is survived by his wife Derhonda, and children, Scott Conrad with his wife Kimberly, his son Kevin and daughters, Michelle Royal and Cristen. He has two stepdaughters, Robyn Riddell and Aimee Weaver with her husband Jeff Weaver. Conrad has seven grandchildren, Aron Conrad, Joshua with his wife Kirsten, Matthew, Stephanie Buehler, Shelby Buehler, Samantha Buehler and Ella Jane Weaver; and two great-grandchildren Noah Jeffery Ray Strzelecki and Nevaeh Buehler. Conrad was a pioneer in the restaurant industry and in Arkansas business. He brought the restaurant giant Subway Sandwiches to Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Texas, Missouri, and Tennessee in 1984. He served as the Development Agent for Subway for over thirty years where he grew the sandwich franchise to over 300 stores in his region. He enjoyed fishing and boating. He and Derhonda retired at Mountain Harbor with numerous friends and his buddy "Markansas". Funeral services will be held on Saturday, 2 p.m. at the First Christian Church on 1500 North Mississippi Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations in his name be given to the Montgomery County Food Bank, P.O.
