Frances L. Richards Plummer Rodman, age 91, of North Little Rock, Ark. She was born on April 29, 1922 to Jake and Maggie Richards in North Little Rock, Ark. Frances passed away on April 8, 2013 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Carol and Don Horne. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, John Kieser Plummer and Adelbert "Deb" Rodman, an infant son; daughter, Christina Plummer Carpenter; grandson, Richard Kieser "Kip" Plummer, granddaughter, Trina Carpenter Mount and a brother, Charles Richards. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Carol Horne (Don); her sons, Richard Plummer (Doris), John D. Plummer (Sandy), Ronald "Lewie" Plummer (Brenda), Michael Plummer (Annie), William "Billy" Plummer. Frances also leaves behind fourteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, a brother, Bill Richards, two sisters, Mary Ellen Dillon and Carolyn Jones along with numerous nieces and nephews. Frances was a lifetime member of Levy United Methodist Church of which her parents were founding members. She was a member of Aldersgate and McHughes Sunday School Classes, Women's Circle, Quilting Bees, S.O. S. and United Methodist Women. The Levy United Methodist Church was the center of her life and the Holy Bible was the guide to how she lived her daily life. She volunteered in her children's schools and was very active in her sons and daughters lives serving as Den Mother and Scout Leader. Frances studied her Bible daily for as long as her health permitted and after each day's study, she would write down what she had learned. At the end of each week, she would bundle up her writings and mail them to the child, grandchild or others who had been placed on her heart and in her prayers most often during that week All were happy to receive "Mama/Nanny's" Daily Jot Downs. Frances was a loving, caring, and giving woman on earth and she will be "Glorified" in heaven. One of her many sayings were "Jesus loves you and I do too". A special thank you and appreciation to her daughters, Tina Carpenter (deceased) and her husband, Bill, Mary Carol Horne and her husband, Don, for the loving care each gave to our Mother in their homes for the last fifteen years of her life. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 10, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, Ark. 72116 (501-791-7400). Funeral will be held at Levy United Methodist Church, 701 W. 47th Street, North Little Rock, Ark. 72118 on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Edgewood Memorial Park, North Little Rock, Ark.
