Ulma Blanch Sellers, 92, of Vilonia went to be with our Lord April 10, 2013. Born Feb. 8, 1921 in Cabot, Ark., she was the youngest child of James Washington Phillips and Martha "Mattie" Kazia Burns Phillips. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Adolph Millard "Doc" Sellers; her siblings: Cecil Phillips, Clara Harkins, A.D. "Lonnie" Phillips, Lester Phillips, Clarence Phillips and Alberta Sellers; and her oldest son, James R. Sellers Sr. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene from the age of 10, and served as long-time member of the Board of Liberty Church of the Nazarene, where she also served over decades as Church Treasurer, Sunday School teacher, church pianist and Missionary President. She was the Valedictorian of the Vilonia High School Class of 1939 and was active in Faulkner County Extension Homemakers, the Faulkner County Singing Convention and the Arkansas Cattlemen's Association. She is survived by three sons: Ed (Linda) Sellers of Vilonia, John (Sherry) Sellers of Conway and Hal (Glenda) Sellers of Vilonia, nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and hundreds of friends influenced by her legacy. Visitation will be at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home on Friday, April 12th from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 13th at 11 a.m. at Liberty Church of the Nazarene on Highway 36 in Vilonia. The service will be officiated by Rev. Jon Bemis and Rev. Kevin Rector; Pallbearers will be James Sellers Jr., Brett Sellers, Bart Sellers, Steven Sellers, Connor Roach and Tommy Sellers.
